Register Now for Largo Summer CampsLARGO - Registration is now open to Largo residents for over 60 fun-filled summer camps. This year's theme, "Licensed to Play!" includes full and half day summer camps for preschool, elementary, middle school, and teenage children. Parents can choose from over 8 full day camps, 21 sport camps, 19 specialty camps, theatre and dance camps, as well as pre and post-camp days. Mix and match summer camps and locations to plan a fun and exciting summer for your child. The City of Largo is taking great strides towards growing healthy kids through nutrition, wellness, and activity in all of its summer camp programs. Daily schedules will include at least 60 minutes of physical activity and staff will encourage physical fitness in all children, emphasizing the importance of healthy habits. New summer camp brochures, listing all available programs, are located at any City of Largo recreation facility. Non-resident registration begins Saturday, March 20, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Highland and Southwest Recreation Complexes.
