Greater Pinellas Democratic Club Celebrates with Annual Picnic and Beach PartyOn Sunday, May 2, the Greater Pinellas Democratic Club will hold its annual picnic and beach party, and what a party it will be! This exciting event will happen at "America's most beautiful beach" in Fort DeSoto Park - Pavilion 8, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and kids under 8 are free. The food will be great, with something for everyone (much of it homemade or, as with the traditional "belly buster," hot dogs, cooked to perfection right there on the grill), and the drinks will be cool and refreshing. What a great opportunity to reconnect with friends, make new ones, and meet and talk with candidates and/or elected officials. Picnic goers can swim in the beautiful gulf waters, (perfect weather and temperature have been ordered,) take in the sun, or sit in the shade under the pavilion or a palm tree…even bring their own chair(s).
