(at front left) Donna Johnston and her golden retriever, Zachary, 11, were caught on camera prior to the pet costume contest at this year's Pawfest at Largo Central Park on April 3. Zachary, who won the award for "Best Dressed", didn't seem to mind wearing a wig for the occasion. The event also featured games for children and their pets, a Largo Police K-9 demonstration, clowns, face painting, live entertainment and more.
 Nola Davis and her dog, China, were among those attending Pawfest at Largo Central Park on April 3. Davis said China is a rescue dog from a puppy mill.
