
Clearwater Audubon Society Hosts Walk in Honeymoon Island ParkThe Clearwater Audubon Society is hosting the Honeymoon Island State Park Birdwatching Walk on Wednesday, April 28, at 8:00 a.m. Please meet behind the McDonalds at the corner of Alt US 19 and Curlew Road. Please join us for this great birdwatching trip! This is a birdwatcher's heaven! See wading birds and shore birds, plus migratory songbirds and raptors. There is a Bald Eagle's nest, as well as a family of Great Horned Owls. This is a 2 to 3 mile walk on sand trails. Bring your binoculars and field guides! Beginners and experience birders welcome! There is a fee to enter the park.
