Baseball Has Gone to the Dogs

CLEARWATER - The Humane Society of Pinellas, Inc. is ready for Bark at the Ball Park II at Bright House Field (601 Old Coachman Road, Clearwater.) Thanks to the Clearwater Threshers, on Sunday, May 2, you are invited to bring your dog to the game, with gates opening at noon. Game time is 1:00 p.m. for the Clearwater Threshers to take on the Daytona Cubs.

The sponsors for this event are: Bright House Networks, St. Petersburg Times, The New Barker, A Quick Print Plus, Bella Dog Magazine, and Celebration Station. These sponsors are responsible for the afternoon of vendors, socializing with other animal lovers, and all of the amenities offered at Bright House Field, like Frenchy's Tiki Bar and Home Run Concessions.

Don't forget the "EST" Pet Contest, sponsored by The Big Game Gallery, LLC, offering a $475 prize! During the 1st inning judges will be looking for the most extreme in a creative category of your choice such as the laziEST, drooliEST, and curliEST.

There will also be the famous Chinese Ruffable Raffle baskets offering great gift bundles. Event t-shirts will be for sale, and also some adorable, adoptable pet.

The end of the game offers you a chance of a lifetime, as you are invited to Run The Bases with you dog!

Don't forget your postcard's signature stamp for your opportunity at our new season long raffle event. On June 27th at Bark at the Ball Park IV we will collect the cards that are surrendered with all 4 dates marked for a Grand Raffle!

Mark your calendar for May 23rd, and June 27th! On these dates you can also bring your dog to the game with you. The gates open at 12:00 p.m. for 1:00 p.m. game times.
