In talking with you this morning, I am making a formal request to be sent to the Board of Commissioners for the City of Largo.
Dear Mayor:
In your last Commission meeting, I talked about modifying the "Sign Ordinance" currently in place for a period of "1" year.
Here is my recommendation, for a period of "1" year, the business owners can choose two of these items below:
- Pennants
- Streamers
- Balloons
- Signs on Vehicles (Professionally Made not to exceed 8 x 4)
- Buntings (decorative banner)
- Festoons (hanging garland)
Note: These would be allowed in addition to what is currently approved signage.
Lastly, there is a process already in place at the City to approve these additional signs for the "1" year period. The City has a Temporary Sign "Form" that can be used during this time.
Please consider this change in order to help the Local Business Owners drive more business and revenue into their stores as well as the City.
