PETERSBURG - The 11th Annual "Wildlife & Western Visions Art Show" will take place on April 24th and 25th, at the headquarters of Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg. Nineteen award-winning artists will be present for the show, including six very popular Florida artists, two Native American jewelers, and a member of the esteemed "Cowboy Artists of America," Tom Browning, CA. Participating artists also include: Michael Coleman, Nicholas Coleman, Matthew Hillier, Dustin Payne, Vic Payne, Julia Rogers, Charles Rowe, Tom Saubert, John Seerey-Lester, Suzie Seerey-Lester, Ernest C. Simmons, Geoffrey Smith, Trevor Swanson, and David Yorke. Making their very first appearance at the show will be Susan Terpning (western and landscape paintings), Alvin Marshall (western stone sculptures), and David Wang, a western painter who has also done animation for Disney and makes his home in Orlando. Several of the artists do not participate in any other art shows east of the Mississippi, so this is a rare opportunity to see them in person! Due to the high caliber of artists who have participated in this show over the years, this prestigious "Wildlife and Western Visions" invitational art show has been nationally recognized, and has been featured in several prominent art magazines as one of the "top art shows for collectors to attend." Art collectors travel from all parts of Florida and from across the country to attend the show. Original paintings, sculptures, giclee prints, and fine Native American jewelry in a wide variety of price ranges will be on display and available for purchase. Tours of the Tom and Mary James/Raymond James Financial Art Collection will be available both days. Parking and admission to the show are free. A new event this year is the "Quick Draw" Artist Demonstration, which will take place Saturday, April 24, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Three or four renowned artists will create original works of art while attendees watch, with the artwork available for purchase later during the show. This highly anticipated show will be open to the public on Saturday, April 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday, April 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Raymond James Financial Center, Tower IV, 880 Carillon Parkway, St. Petersburg.
