Clearwater Airpark Hosts Annual Open HouseCLEARWATER - The Clearwater Airpark is hosting its annual Open House, featuring Astronaut Nicole Stott on Saturday, May 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will feature a small ceremony honoring hometown astronaut Nicole Stott, followed by free kids activities, reduced rate airplane and helicopter rides, a K-9 demonstration by the Clearwater Police Department, and an appearance by the Clearwater Fire Department. Attendees will get a chance to see various aircrafts up close, such as a Coast Guard helicopter, Army helicopter, and Bayflite Helicopter.
