No-Parking Signs and Short Term Rentals to be DiscussedBy Anne McKay GarrisOn Tuesday, May 4, the problems of short-term rentals on North Clearwater Beach and no parking signs because of Spring Break will be discussed at the Clearwater Beach Association meeting at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. On hand to listen and suggest will be Clearwater Police Lieutenant Joe Young and Clearwater Planning Director Michael Delk. The purpose of the discussion will be to come up with some solutions to the challenge of preventing parking gridlock during Spring Break without limiting the use of the streets by residents and their visitors. It will also, hopefully, give the residents and the Planning Department a meeting of the minds on the subject of short-term rentals and the regulations regarding building limits in the area. Members of the CBA are urged to attend. Other interested parties are also welcome.
