Upper Pinellas African Violet Society Hosts Sale and Educational EventThe Upper Pinellas African Violet Society will host a sale and educational event on Friday, May 7, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 8, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This event will be held at the St. Matthias Lutheran Church (2751 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater), which is just east of US 19. The sale area will have starter and blooming African violets, other gesneriads, and supplies. Hands-on activities and information for good growing will be provided. There will also be something new to the event, yard related items and home decor accessories. Admission to this event is free.
