Fine Arts Society Enjoys Spring Fling SuccessA beautiful evening with a true Floridian sunset at the Belleair waterfront home of Kelly and Bob Schmidt was the setting for the Fine Arts Society fundraiser, "Spring Fling." Chefs Richard Renauld and Assistant Manager of the Thirsty Martin Grill, Ed Brewer, prepared and demonstrated the fine art of cooking she crab soup and bacon wrapped scallops served on risotto for 50 Society members and guests. Thanks go to hosts Kelly and Bob; Chair, Peggy Powell; Co-Chair, Bev Harvard; and their able staff for a memorable evening. Funds raised at this event are to help sponsor the Dunedin Fine Art Center's Fall 2010 Exhibits. Future fundraising event profits will be awarded to a different art venue each year to foster the growth of the visual arts in Pinellas County.
