Clearwater's Newest Florida State Junior Horseshoe ChampionMegan Polski, 12 years old, of Largo, who has been coming to the club to watch her father and uncle pitch, decided she wanted to practice on an open court. For the last couple of months on Wednesday nights, she pitches for about three hours. Since joining the club Megan has won her first three Class Tournaments. Her record is 15 wins and 3 losses. Megan just finished pitching in the Juniors Florida State Championship on Saturday, April 24th. Megan was unopposed in the Junior Girls Division, and automatically is this year's Girls Junior State Champion. Megan then competed against the Boys Junior State Pitchers. Her record was 4 wins and 2 losses, to win second place. This was quite an accomplishment for a first year beginner.
