
The Association of Junior Leagues International Adds Kathy Rabon to its Board of Directors
Kathy Rabon has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. NEW YORK - The Association of Junior Leagues International Inc. announced the election of Kathy Rabon, CFRE, CFRM of the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin as Board Secretary on its 20-member Board of Directors. In that role, Mrs. Rabon will be an active voice in providing direction and inspiration for the 293 independent Junior Leagues in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Mexico. A past President of the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin and co-founder of the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Foundation, Mrs. Rabon is currently serving as Community Vice President, assisting in leading the League's new signature project to create a Teen Training Center for youth preparing to age-out of the foster care system. She has also served on the AJLI Board for five years as Board Member-at-Large, Nominating Vice-Chair and Chair. Mrs. Rabon is Vice President of Development and Communications for the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and member of the Senior Leadership Team. She was honored by the Olympic Games Committee for community voluntarism by carrying the Olympic Torch on its Journey to Atlanta in 1996. The Association of Junior Leagues International Inc. was founded in 1901 by New Yorker and social activism pioneer, Mary Harriman. The Junior Leagues are charitable nonprofit organizations of women, developed as civic leaders, creating demonstrable community impact. Today, The Association of Junior Leagues International Inc.
