If that means you have parties and outings to plan, may I suggest you take a look at Clearwater Beach Recreation Complex's pool. You can rent the entire area, you know, during hours it isn't open to the public. What a way to entertain for graduations, birthdays, out-of-town guests! The entertainment is automatic, or, if it involves children, provided by the Pool Staff. Tables and chairs and clean-up are provided. All you do is invite your guests, bring the food, and show up. Also, having our lovely little pool available gives you a chance to say, "Let's meet at the pool," rather than, "Let's do lunch." Doing the pool is healthier, uses up calories instead of ingesting them, and keeps you comfortably cool. For grandparents with grandkids spread all over the universe, everywhere but nearby, it's a chance to enjoy watching little folks frolic in the water. The citizens of Clearwater Beach put up a good fight at City Hall to get the pool built, so enjoy! You can also start collecting your computer questions because the laptop computers for the library will be available in June and volunteers will be available to help you learn how to use your computer. These computers were purchased, in part, with funds from Clearwater Beach organizations and individuals. Make your spring and summer better by enjoying the advantages of our library and Recreation Center. They're there for you to use.
