Florida Herb Society Hosts Herbal Cook OffThe Florida Herb Society (FHS) is hosting their Herbal Cook Off. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 18, at the Clearwater Garden Club (405 Seminole St., Clearwater). The welcome and register will be at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. Bring and taste unique herbalicious foods submitted in the contest! Additionally, Linda Nash Stevenson of Lifeforce Acupuncture will demonstrate Herbal Teas 101. Our goal at the FHS is to educate members and the general public in the growing and preservation of herbs for use in culinary, medicinal, and decorative purposes. Come to share and/or learn! Refreshments and herbal swaps will be between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. Visitors are always welcome! You can check out a meeting for free or it is $20 per year if you decide to join!
