Supplies Needed for Oil Spill CleanupThe Largo Police Department will be a drop-off location for items needed by the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, which will be used in the mitigation of the oil spill, which could affect the shores of Florida and Louisiana. Clearly marked boxes are staged in the lobby of the Largo Police Department at 201 Highland Avenue, Largo. Anyone wishing to drop off items may bring them to the police department and place them in the appropriate box. Items needed are: paper towels, trash bags, water, dawn dishwashing liquid, hard and soft bristle brushes, old clean t-shirts, pantyhose, and plastic totes with lids.
