Skate Park is for Bikes,Too

Anthony Beroney rides his bike up one of the ramps at Largo Skate Park earlier this month. "Extreme Jams" are scheduled the first Saturday of each month--bikes only from 12-3 p.m., skates only from 3-6 p.m. Summer dates are June 5, July 3 and August 7. Admission is free. Helmets are required and liability waivers must be on file. The park is located at the Highland Recreation Complex, 400 North Highland Avenue. For more information, call 518-3016.
