Outreach Program Celebrates Memories at Last "Hoorah"LARGO - On Friday, June 11, the City of Largo will be hosting a special "Celebrating Memories" event to commemorate the final day of the City's Outreach Program. From 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Palms Outreach Center (380 Fulton Dr SE, Largo.) Individuals from the community are invited to enjoy activities, entertainment, games, inflatables, food, tributes, and much more! The City's Outreach Program, which provided free year-round services and programming for youth in the Largo area, began in 1996 and was led by the City's Recreation, Parks and Arts Department. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, the program was removed from the City's budget. Help Largo Recreation celebrate over 14 years of memories by taking part in this great event.
