New American Theater Announces Local AuditionsST. PETERSBURG - New American Theater (NAT) will hold their local auditions for the 2010/2011 season at the Palladium Theater on June 15th, starting at 5:00 p.m. Auditions are open to Equity and non-Equity actors by appointment only. Auditions require a one-minute monologue and 16 bars of a song. NAT's inaugural season showcase a variety of styles in musical theater, including the classic "Pump Boys and Dinettes", the Tampa/St. Petersburg Area Premier of "A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline", the uniquely abstract "Songs of a New World", and the Tony-Award winning audience favorite, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee".
