PUP Crawl and Dogedin Dog Mural Unveiling ScheduledThe dog days of summer PUP crawl and Dogedin Dog Mural unveiling will be held on Sunday, June 20, at 5:00 p.m. at Skip's Bar and Grill (371 Main Street, Dunedin.) Anna Hamilton, a local artist, has been painting the dog mural for the past month, and community dogs are proudly on display. Community support has been overwhelming, stated Hamilton. People made a donation to have their dog on the wall, and this helps benefit the local dog rescue. During the dog mural celebration, a professional photographer will be there to take pictures of your dogs with their painting on the wall. Hot dogs and beer will be on sale, with a portion of the beer sales going to Dunedin Doggie Rescue (DDR). A presentation of a check to Dunedin Doggie Rescue from the artist will also take place. The majority of the dogs on the mural are local dogs. Skip, the owner of the Skip's Bar and Grill, adopted a dog from the local rescue a few years ago and wanted to help the local rescue. So many dogs are in need of help and Dunedin wants to be part of saving lives, shared Skip.
