Artist Princess Rashid to Demonstrate Painting Techniques

PALM HARBOR, FL - Acclaimed artist Princess Simpson Rashid will demonstrate her unique painting techniques during a lecture at the Palm Harbor Library on Saturday, June 12, at 1:00 p.m. Entitled "From Chaos to Order: Demonstrating Fluid Acrylic Painting Techniques," the free presentation will be held in the library's Palm Room, and no registration is necessary.

Rashid graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. in Physics and Astronomy. She also studied printmaking and painting in Puerto Rico. Her interest in science is reflected in her artwork, where she uses acrylic, watercolor, and oil paints. Several pieces of her work are on display in the library's Art Alcove through July 1st, and you can see her paintings at www.princessrashid.com.
