Sarah Preston Davidson and Trent Wintermeier are pictured with the gold medals they were awarded in the juvenile pairs figure skating competition at the Florida State Sunshine Games in May (more information below).

Congratulations to Sarah Preston Davidson, 10, and Trent Wintermeier, 11, gold medal winners in the juvenile pairs figure skating freeskate division at the Florida Sunshine State Games, which took place at Incredible Ice in Coral Springs May 14-16. Sarah also took home a silver medal in preliminary spins and a bronze medal for preliminary jumps. Trent earned a gold medal for preliminary boys freeskate. The young skaters, who are coached by World and Olympic coach Pauline Gasparini with Jim Millns, 1976 Olympic bronze medalist, have been competing as a pair for several years. They plan to take part in the U.S. Figure Skating sectional competition in the fall in Pennsylvania, where they hope to qualify for the U.S. Junior Nationals. ... Hats off to the following college graduates: Brooke Kennedy, Michael Devine, Molly Hays and Peter Gylfe. A tip of the hat also goes to high school grads Kayla Loutitt, Alex Swatzell, Megan Hays and Hillary Bowman ...
