Largo Attempts World Record at 4th of July Celebration EventLARGO - The City of Largo and Baystar Hotel Group invite you to the Annual 4th of July Celebration Event at Largo Central Park, presented by Autoway Honda. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Largo Recreation, Parks & Arts, and the 50th anniversary of the dance move, "The Twist." To celebrate, Largo will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record of the largest number of people doing "The Twist" at the same time. Joey Dee and the Starliters will provide entertainment throughout the night. Cost to participate in this world-record attempt will be $3 per person, and includes a commemorative world-record attempt hat. Registration will take place on-site starting at 6:00 p.m., and all members of the community are welcome to participate. Largo's 4th of July Celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. at Largo Central Park (101 Central Park Drive, Largo.) Friends and family can enjoy great food, entertainment, activities for all ages, and one of the greatest firework shows in the area, starting at 9:00 p.m. On-site paid parking will be available.
