Email to the Largo Mayor and CommissionersTo the Mayor and Commissioners: I read where you are planning on doing a major overhaul of the Central Park Playground. Homes in Largo are in foreclosure, people are out of work. Can you really with a good conscience approve such spending? I stopped at the park and here is my opinion. Replace that which is broken. (Plywood to block it.) Remove that which is torn and replace with rubber chips, and give everything a fresh coat of paint. Let me be the first to volunteer to paint the playground equipment. Do I hear a second…a third? Get the community involved! I am sure it can be done with very little expense. I came from a country where we have thousand year old buildings and we don't believe in tearing them down. A lot of things can be fixed. Sincerely, Christel Hunsicker
