Email to the Largo Mayor and Commissioners

The Mayor, Commission and Joan Byrne.

Mrs. Mayor:
Thank you for your reply, however, I take offence with your last sentence. "The Commission has to make its decision, however, based on what most people want, not just a few."

"We the people of Largo" are getting tired of paying for the entertainment for what most of the people want, especially when they are not from Largo.

For example: St. Pete Times, June 16, 2010. Dance at the Community Center attended by 12 people at a $5.00 fee. Total income $60.00

3 people were identified as being from Largo, the others were not Largo taxpayers.

What was the cost of the 3 pc. band? Every time there is an article, it doesn't matter if it is the Highland Center, Community Center or Central Park, the majority identified are not from Largo!

During your term as Mayor the budget has exploded. You were elected by the taxpayers of Largo and you should look out for their interest only.

Largo has gone bankrupt before, (it is mortgaged to the hilt right now) and don't think it couldn't happen again, unless you cut all frivolous spending.

Sincerely,
Christel Hunsicker
