Clearwater Marine Aquarium to Host Senior Wednesdays

CLEARWATER - Here is a great way for seniors to start their Wednesday mornings. For only $3, senior citizens (55+) who arrive at CMA between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. can take advantage of a reduced admission rate of only $3. This special rate includes complimentary donuts, coffee, and a 10 percent discount on gift shop purchases. Seniors can enjoy their coffee and donuts and our beautiful view. In addition, each week a different staff member or volunteer will join them to chat about how this working animal hospital operates. A perfect and affordable destination for a social gathering; see you next Wednesday!

CMA is a Florida non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to marine life rescue, rehabilitation and release, and environmental education. The Aquarium is home to dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays, nurse sharks, and more. Winter the dolphin's story of survival and inspiration has touched millions of people around the world. A movie about her life story is in the works with Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment. Her documentary, "Winter: The Dolphin that Could" is available at www.SeeWinter.com. The film takes viewers on an extraordinary journey through her rescue, fight to stay alive, and extensive rehabilitation. Scholastic published Winter's Tail: How One Little Dolphin Learned to Swim Again in October 2009.
