Clearwater and St. Petersburg Bar Associations Present Judicial Candidates ForumCLEARWATER - The public is invited to a Judicial Candidates Forum and luncheon at the Hilton Carillon, at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, for candidates in contested judicial elections in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida (includes Pinellas and Pasco.) The event is presented by the Clearwater and St. Petersburg Bar Associations, and the North and South Pinellas Chapters of the League of Women Voters. The candidates have been invited to make a brief presentation to assist members of the Bar, the League, and the public in making an informed decision at the polls on August 24th. Judicial candidates must refrain from the usual politics; and, therefore, it is often difficult for voters to obtain information on the candidates. The public is invited to the luncheon and forum. Advance reservations are required by calling the Clearwater Bar at (727) 461-4869 by July 23rd. The cost is $30 in advance and includes lunch.
