Largo Flying Club Hosts Air ShowThe Largo Flying Club is hosting an air show for the children attending the 2010 Largo Summer Youth Program. This event will take place on Monday, August 2, 9:30 a.m., at the Largo Flying Club's flying field. The field is located at the corner of 8th Ave. and Donegan Rd. - near Largo Middle School. There you can experience the children's enthusiasm first hand! Activities will consist of several different demonstrations of model aviation, including airplanes, helicopters, and aerobatic demonstrations. There will also be "training airplanes" for the kids to fly with some of our club instructors. The air show will be one of the highlights of this year's Summer Youth Program. Largo Flying Club has been in existence for more than 12 years, and includes members of all age groups and walks of life.
