Greater Pinellas Democratic Club Sponsors Celebration RallyAt the August 12th meeting of the Greater Pinellas Democratic Club attendees will participate in a grand celebratory rally for gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink and other Florida Democratic candidates, such as Loranne Ausley for Chief Financial Officer and Scott Maddox for Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Local candidates will attend, and special invitations have gone out to other Democratic clubs and DEC members. Janet Long (running for re-election as State Representative District 51) will introduce Alex. Anyone who is interested in meeting, learning more about and celebrating with these candidates should be a part of this exciting evening. To add to the festivities, Harvey Morgenstein, President of the club, will be feted for his amazing twenty years at the helm. This very important, fun, and informative celebration, which will be held at Banquet Masters (8100 Park Blvd, Pinellas Park), starts with cocktails (cash bar) and social time at 6:00 p.m., followed by a varied and sumptuous buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m., and concludes with the speakers' presentations and discussion.
