Largo Golf Course Hosts Back to School TournamentLARGO - Get ready for the 2010-2011 school year with Largo Golf Course's Back to School Tournament on Saturday, August 21. The tournament format will be a 9-hole scramble held at Largo Golf Course (12500 Vonn Rd, Largo.) Teams will be two person, parent/child teams, composed of one adult (parent/grandparent/aunt/uncle), and one student. Teams will be placed in divisions (Elementary, Middle School, and High School) based on the grade the student will be entering in August 2010. First tee off will be at 2:00 p.m., followed by tee times every seven minutes. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each age division. Cost is $25 per participant and includes green fee, electric cart, player gift, and hamburger dinner at the completion of play. Registration is required by August 20th.
