Home Bridge Group is Looking for New MembersMembers of the Island Estates Women's Club may be interested in joining the Home Bridge group of players. Following a schedule, a designated host team member calls the scheduled opposing team to arrange the time of play at their home. Rubber Bridge (24 hands) is played, and scores are called in. At the end of the season, prizes are awarded for monthly highs, slams bid and made, and for the season's highest 1st and 2nd place teams, at an Awards Luncheon in May. Games are played on the second Thursday of each month, starting in October and ending in April. A list of substitutes who need not be Club members will be provided. Refreshments are at the host's discretion. Throughout the years, warm friendships have developed through the Women's Club, which has provided scholarships and various activities.
