"Amendment Four, Hometown Democracy, Facts and Fallacies"On Monday, September 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Salvation Army Joy Center (1521 Druid Road, Clearwater) the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition will host a free presentation to educate the public about the benefits and consequences of Florida's citizen initiated Amendment 4, Hometown Democracy. Two individuals, with opposing perspectives, familiar with the legal intricacies of land use and zoning issues will present their interpretation of how Amendment 4 will impact the citizens of Florida. The presentations are structured to be informative and insightful about this issue. After the presentations, audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions. This event is free and open to the public.
