Largo Police Department Hosts Volunteers in PolicingThe Largo Police Department will be hosting another Volunteers in Policing (VIP) Academy. Currently there are 52 volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time to help the community. Volunteers perform a myriad of duties both at the Largo Police Department and throughout the community; from helping out with administrative paperwork, to writing parking enforcement citations and directing traffic at crash scenes, volunteers are a tremendous asset to the overall mission to provide superior service to the community.
