
National Society Presents Award to Local ResidentAlfred Parks Honeywell has been awarded the Liberty Medal in recognition of his outstanding services in the recruitment of new members by the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. The award was given at the 120th National Congress in Cleveland, Ohio held June 28-30. The award is given for recruiting 10 new members to become members of the Sons of the American Revolution. Compatriot Honeywell is the Registrar for the Clearwater Chapter, Florida Society of the American Revolution. The Clearwater Chapter, Florida Society Sons of the American Revolution meets at the Dunedin Golf Club (1050 Palm Blvd, Dunedin) on the third Wednesday of the month. The next meeting is Wednesday, September 15. Meetings start at 11:30 a.m. with a social period, a luncheon at noon, followed by speaker. Cost is $18 per person paid in advance, $20 at the door.
