If you're interested in getting together with others your age, be advised there is a club just for you in this area. The Belleair Senior Social Club was founded three years ago. Today it has some 47 members who enjoy each other's company at breakfast meetings, potluck dinners, concerts, movies, day trips and more throughout the year. Each Tuesday, members gather at 9 a.m. for breakfast at Panera Bread, which is located at 2928 West Bay Drive in Belleair Bluffs. They also meet at a different restaurant each Sunday evening for dinner. They have visited the Tampa Aquarium and travelled to Ellenton to shop at the outlet mall there. The Town of Belleair has provided a bus and driver for the club's longer trips. Most of the members come from Belleair, Belleair Bluffs and Belleair Shore, but residents of Largo are welcome to join. There are no dues and no officers. You're invited to come out and learn more about the club from the members who meet in the rear section of Panera Bread on Tuesday mornings, or you may call 584-2165 for more information ...
