
Caladesi Chapter DAR Schedules First Fall MeetingThe Caladesi Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold the first Fall meeting on Monday, September 20, 12:30 p.m., at Friendship Hall of the First United Methodist Church (421 Main Street, Dunedin.) The program, "Citizenship", will be presented by Brett R. Rinehart, Field Office Director of the Citizenship and Immigration Service, Tampa. Chapter members aid the office in Naturalization Ceremonies, which are held in Tampa, throughout the year. The Caladesi Chapter will be celebrating Constitution Week September 17-23 by receiving proclamations from the City of Dunedin and City of Safety Harbor. Constitution Sunday will be observed on September 12th at the Church of the Ascension (701 Orange St., Clearwater.) A patriotic display honoring Constitution Week will also be held at the Dunedin Public Library for the entire month of September. Any woman age 18 or older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to become a member and is invited to attend the September 20th meeting.
