Pasadena Yacht and Country Club Hosts Golf for the Gulf

GULFPORT - Every year, millions of visitors dig their toes into the sand, dine on succulent seafood, and watch the sunset on the beautiful Gulf Coast Beaches. The Deepwater Horizon Disaster was a serious wake up call for those residents and visitors that may not understand just how fragile this precious natural resource is to all of us. Pasadena Yacht & Country Club plans Golf for the Gulf on Monday, October 4, to benefit Tampa Bay Watch so they are able to continue their mission of protecting and restoring the marine and wetland environments of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4, with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start, and lunch at 1:30 p.m. The tournament is a four-person scramble, with a maximum of 128 players. Players of all abilities are welcome to participate. Prizes will be given for Top Teams, Men & Women's Longest Ball, Closest to the Pin, Hole-In-One, and Putting Contests. Entry Fee includes greens fees, cart, and lunch. Various sponsorship levels are available. Please register on www.tampabaywatch.org and contact Celeste Noren at (727) 424-9416 with questions.
