Bay City Ballet Holds Open Auditions for The Nutcracker The Bay City Ballet will be holding auditions for their 10th annual production of the holiday favorite "The Nutcracker" to be performed at the Largo Cultural Center. The auditions are open to the public. They are casting children and teens with dance experience, adults, gymnasts, and specialty acts (i.e. - stilt walkers, jugglers, etc.) Auditions dates are as follows: Saturday, September 25: Palm Harbor Studios (32684 US Hwy 19 North) Advanced dancers with strong Pointe work will be seen at 11:00 a.m. Children ages 8 - 10 will be seen at 2:00 p.m. Children ages 5 - 7 will be seen at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2: Clearwater Studios (1715 S. Missouri Ave.) Advanced dancers will be seen at 11:00 a.m. Children ages 8 - 10 will be seen at 2:00 p.m. Children ages 5 - 7 will be seen at 3:00 p.m. All others will be seen at 4:00 p.m. Performance dates are December 18th and 19th.
