
The Humane Society of Pinellas Hosts 3rd Annual Cruising For CrittersCLEARWATER - The Humane Society of Pinellas is ready for the 3rd Annual Cruising For Critters on Saturday, October 2. The first event will be the poker run that welcomes motorcycles of all styles. There is a new route this year, offering new sites and stops. Last year The Humane Society was able to give out $10,400 in both door and winning hand prizes, including AirTran airline tickets awarded to the Best Hand. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. at Eve's Family Restaurant in Oldsmar, with kickstands up at 9:30 a.m. The pack will stop at Gulf Coast Harley Davidson; Venom Custom Choppers & Cycle Works; Fairway Pizza & Pub; Fletchers Harley Davidson, who is sponsoring a Jokers Wild contest; and ultimately ending at Quaker Steak & Lube in Clearwater, with your 5-card hand of poker ready for the After Party until 4:00 p.m. The last bike needs to be in by 1:00 p.m. The Rebel Pride Band will take the stage from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. There will be event shirts, a 50/50 raffle, tons of door prizes, and vendors. The closing ceremony to announce the winners will be at 2:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Hand, 2nd Best Hand, and Worst Hand.
