Clearwater Audubon Announces October's Calendar of Events
It is that time of year again! The birds are returning and the Audubon field trips are back! Below is the calendar of events for October 2010!

Armchair Birding at Bonner Park in Largo:
Meet in the parking lot for a short lecture, then a little walk through the park woods to the dock over the Intercoastal Waterway. Enjoy a relaxing birdwatching experience out of the sun and over the water. Bring your armchair and binoculars! This trip is free!

Fort De Soto County Park Birdwatching Walk:
Meet at the ranger's station under the big flag when you enter the park. Join Clearwater Audubon Society on a great birdwatching trip to Fort De Soto. Did you know that this huge park has a tremendous variety of migratory songbirds, raptors, water and shore birds? Its prime location makes it the first stop for migrants from South and Central America. It is full of natural beauty and surprises. This includes birding the causeway and shoreline drive in addition to walking about 2 miles on Tampa Bay's north shore. Bring your binoculars and field guides if you have them!
There is a fee to enter the park.
