National Active and Retired Federal Employees Schedules MeetingAll Federal retirees and active Federal employees are encouraged to attend an upcoming meeting of National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1140, that includes the Gulf Beaches and Southern Pinellas County. Please join NARFE for their meeting and luncheon. The October meeting is being held on Wednesday, October 27, at the Fountains of Boca Ciega Bay in the Key West Dining Room (1255 SW. Pasadena Avenue, St. Petersburg.) There will be lunch ($5.00) before the meeting, and spouses and guests are welcomed. There will be a discussion of up-to-date issues particularly relevant for active and retired Federal Employees. The October 27th program is also the Chapter's Annual Health Fair. Information necessary for the 2010 Federal Benefits Open Season, November 9th through December 14th, will be presented. There will be Health Insurance Representatives from BC/BS, GEHA, Mail Handlers, and insurance companies to discuss the new health insurance information for 2010-2011.
