
Safety Harbor Library Hosts "Writing Your Adventures"You caught a really big fish; your boat flooded; that bear was ready to charge; the pickpocket got away; you yanked your friend to safety just in time; you skidded off the road; your brother never let you forget the time you…While it's fun to tell your friends about your hair-raising incidents, you could also write those stories for publication, a family history, or a memoir. Writer Sandy Huff will present a lecture, "Writing Your Adventures" on how to turn your adventures into page-turning suspense. Her talk will include sure-fire topics, writing with POW!, manuscript preparation, taking the right photos, and finding an editor who wants your story. The seminar will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, at the Safety Harbor Library (101 Second St North, Safety Harbor.) Admission is free! Bring paper, pencils, or your laptop.
