College singers to perform holiday concert
CLEARWATER — The St. Petersburg College Madrigalians will perform “A Noel Garland of Seasonal Delights” at 3 p.m. Sunday at Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 110 S. Fort Harrison Ave.
The ensemble, directed by Dr. Vernon Taranto, will present a wide range of carols and songs, sacred and secular, ancient and contemporary, all celebrating the Christmas season. Among the featured selections are several movements from Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols.”
An offering will be taken ($5 minimum suggested).
A reception is planned after the concert in the church’s fellowship hall for attendees to meet and thank the musicians.
Primary parking areas are: behind the church off Pierce Street; directly east across Fort Harrison Avenue in a large county-owned lot reserved for Peace church events on Sundays; in the lot north of fellowship hall; and west of the church in the city hall lot.

Sunday school to present Christmas program
CLEARWATER BEACH — Sunday school students will present a program during the children’s family service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Chapel-By-The-Sea, 54 Bay Esplanade.
The program, “God So Loved the World,” narrated by the Rev. Herb Freitag, will feature holiday music and a telling of the events leading up to Jesus’ birth.

Largo Christian Fellowship Church Sunday Worship
The Christian Fellowship Church, located at 900 Starkey Road in Largo, is taking a new direction in worship with a contemporary service that begins each Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Charity seeks donations of clothing, shoes
CLEARWATER — Clothes To Kids, which provides clothing free to low-income children in Pinellas County schools, has an urgent need for new and gently used garments and shoes after a busy start to the academic year.
The charity is asking schools, businesses, places of worship and neighborhood organizations to run a clothing drive as soon as possible so the organization’s stores can finish the year fully stocked with clothing and shoes for kindergartners through 12th graders.
Especially needed are young boys and girls shorts and pants sizes six to 16, small to extra large tops, young men’s shorts sizes 18-38, and girls and boys shoes sizes six to 12.
CTK operates year-round and continues to clothe more than 12,000 children annually. Tax-deductible cash donations may be mailed to CTK’s store at 1059 N. Hercules Ave., Clearwater FL 33765 or dropped off there or at the St. Petersburg location, 3251 Third Ave. N., Suite 145. Donations of
clothing and shoes are accepted at the stores from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
