LARGO — The 16th annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament will be held May 3 at the Largo Golf Course, 12500 Vonn Road. Tournament format will be a two-person scramble with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $45 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, electric cart, food, prize drawings and winning team awards. Tournament proceeds will support the summer camp youth scholarship program sponsored by the city’s Recreation, Parks and Arts Department. New this year is the 1 p.m. Largo FootGolf Tournament. The format will be “play your own ball” with two-person teams. Fee is $35 per person for that tournament or $60 for both. Individual or team registration deadline is May 1 and is limited to the first 96 golfers and 96 FootGolfers.
